Rope Compositions

Compositions with parallel wires in which wires in strands are at same step and with steel core is generally preferred.

General Characteristics

Rope wires are in at least 180 kg/mm2 resistance value. Ropes may be manufactured as uncoated lubricated or galvanized lubricated. Ropes with 8 strands may be used when elasticity and resistance are in same importance.

Places of Use

They are used in mining as drag and lifting ropes, elevator ropes in Koepe system and every kind of load lifting, landing and gripping ropes.
